The Top 100 Position Players in MLB History

The Top 25 Negro League Position Players

I used to rank N.L. batters with MLB batters, but every-time I would make a ranking, I would read a contradictory article claiming that one player was far superior than another.  I was also unable to find any credible adjustment system which predicted how each N.L. player would have likely performed in MLB.  Since it is impossible to know how they would have performed, I have decided to not include them in the MLB rankings.  I do, however, consider NeLg. performance in the MLB list for those players who were not allowed to enter the ML earlier, such as Roy Campanella.

I do feel it is necessary to pay respect to the great Negro League players that did not have the opportunity to play in MLB.  I have attempted to rank the top 20 N.L. position based on various polls and articles that I have read and experts I have spoken with.
